Self-proclaimed child of the 90’s with a full heart, Daria is addicted to coffee, crayons and children’s books.
She studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Accademia di Belli Arti di Bologna. She loves to draw cosmos motives along with cups and pretty girls. She also paints family portraits if you ask nicely.
We are very much excited about her Space Ace rug. Its childlike naivete is overlaid with a sophisticated wit that is present in so many of her illustrations.

Mimmi in her own words, “I love color and life, and everything that comes with it. Some time ago, I found an old flower press and decided to renew the ancient technique of pressing plants.
I live on an archipelago outside of Stockholm. I walk my dog along the local beaches between April and October, that is when the local flowers are in bloom and I have an opportunity to pick the flowers for my artwork. I know exactly which flowers grow where, when each one blooms. My work, in a way, freezes time. These flowers have been a part of the earth for an eternity, and when I press and frame them I suspend them in history. With time the leaves fade in color. There is something beautiful about that.
I love the childish expression of building new flowers and patterns from real flowers and plants, it blurs the line between fantasy and reality.”
